  1. I have been saying for quite some time now that, "It's not about worthiness, it's about willingness."

Day 6 has us looking at Peter, the man. He frequently fell short - he blew it on a regular basis. Yet, Peter was the Rock. It was Peter who stood on the Day of Pentecost and addressed the crowd leading to the biggest revival of all times. Peter fulfilled the mission that Christ continually poured into His disciples the few short years he mentored them -- to go into the world and spread the gospel (good news).

The job description in God's want ads is short and sweet:
Help Wanted: Someone to care for others around them. Seeking those who are willing to smile, touch, encourage, and help family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, and strangers. Will include listening to others. On the job training is included in this position.

Find an opportunity today to touch someone's life! Pay it forward!! NJ

  2. When I hear the words "Feed my Sheep" I think of Pastor John. What a responsibility you have Pastor John. You are feeding the youngest, most vulnerable sheep, the sheep that are easy to lead astry or go off on their own yet God placed it in your heart to answer this call. Not only that but you have us bigger sheep to contend with!! My prayer for this day is that God will help me to look beyond myself and my family and that I will put Him first. That I will be willing and have an open heart and that I will step up to the call He has given me when He placed me under the authority of Pastor John and the Children's Ministry. I thank God for a wonderful team and look forward to "feeding His sheep" with you.

  3. To care for people that might not ever be cared for if I don't care for them reminds me of GTeam. I often think that we may be the only time kids in the neighborhoods get to hear about God's love and how much He cares for them. It is very humbling to think that God would give me a "Peter" opportunity even after all He knows about me.
